Ibtihal has grown up to a family in Aleppo that has endured countless hardships. She lost her brother in Aleppo, while another sibling gave up his studies to work as a nurse. Her father worked as a driver and later as a vegetable vendor, selling everything he could to provide for the family. The family was displaced multiple times, returning only to allow Ibtihal to take her high school exams. Despite all the challenges, Ibtihal enrolled in Aleppo Free University and is now in her fourth year at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
